In a country of 1.4 billion people, there are leaders — and then there are game changersAtharva Deore, just 17 years old, is proving that age has nothing to do with impact. He’s not just building his own path — he’s inspiring an entire generation to rethink what’s possible.

From founding three successful companies to running an active NGO (Atharva Foundation), from writing a motivational book to holding significant positions in politics, Atharva has done more before turning 18 than most accomplish in decades.

Currently, Atharva serves as the BJP College and Student Wing President for Kothrud Vidhan Sabha and is the former President of BJP Yuva Warrior Kothrud Vidhan Sabha. These roles have placed him at the forefront of youth-driven political action in Maharashtra.

The Atharva Foundation — Social Impact Beyond Words

At the heart of Atharva’s work lies the Atharva Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to health, education, and community welfare.

  • Health Camps: Providing free check-ups and medical aid to those in need.
  • Blood Donation Drives: Mobilizing youth and communities to save lives.
  • Social Welfare Projects: From distributing essentials to supporting education, the foundation has reached countless families.
In an age where many talk about change, Atharva is out in the streets making it happen.

Politics — The Youth Voice India Deserves

Atharva’s political journey is deeply connected to grassroots leadership. As BJP College and Student Wing President, Kothrud Vidhan Sabha, he works directly with students and young citizens to address their concerns, encourage civic participation, and bridge the gap between politics and youth aspirations.

His tenure as former President of BJP Yuva Warrior Kothrud Vidhan Sabha showcased his ability to mobilize young volunteers for campaigns, social initiatives, and voter awareness drives.

For Atharva, politics is not about power — it’s about purpose. In his words, “Change won’t wait for you — you have to create it.”

Three Companies Before 18— The Entrepreneurial Spirit

While balancing studies, political responsibilities, and social work, Atharva has founded three companies in fields ranging from technology to marketing. His ventures aren’t just about making money — they’re about solving problems and creating opportunities for others.

When I, journalist Balram, asked him what sets him apart from other young entrepreneurs, his answer stopped me in my tracks:

“Others want to own the products of luxury brands. I want to own the luxury brands (build them).”

This isn’t just ambition — it’s a mindset. And it’s this mindset that will carry him far.

Author at 17 — Inspiring Through Words

Atharva isn’t only leading on the ground — he’s also inspiring through his writing. His book, aimed at self-development and resilience, encourages readers to stay authentic, face criticism head-on, and never give up on their goals.

By sharing his own journey, Atharva hopes to ignite the spark of self-belief in every reader.

A Role Model for the Next Generation

Atharva Deore represents the kind of leadership India needs:

    • Visionary — Thinking beyond today.
    • Action-Oriented — Turning ideas into reality.
    • Fearless — Unafraid to stand for what’s right.

He is proof that youth can be at the forefront of change — in business, politics, and social service.

    The Road Ahead

At just 17, Atharva’s journey is only beginning. With his combination of entrepreneurial spirit, social commitment, political leadership, and community service, there’s no doubt he will play a major role in shaping the future of India.

Whether through the Atharva Foundation, his companies, or his political engagement as BJP College & Student Wing President, he is setting a new standard for what it means to be a young leader in the 21st century.
